Amber - Stylist/Colorist

Amber focuses her talent on the transformation a day spent at the salon can do for ones self. Not only for your image, but your confidence and your overall sanity! By staying current on her education (including trendsetting styles and color), she strives to modernize the mom, add trend to the work look and glam up the everyday "wash and go". She is of course, always looking for those daring and spunky clients ready for extreme colors and cuts. On a more glamorous note, Amber was drawn into the industry many years ago, due to the creativity and unique designs of up-dos. She enjoys all special occasion styles, from the dolled-up-date-night to the beautiful bride. Come play hair with Amber and enjoy your much needed transformation.

Barbara - Chinese Medicine

Barbara was raised by very traditional Chinese parents. She became serious about Chinese medicine in 2003 and attended the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Barbara is also gives back to her community. She has been a victim's advocate for 13 years with the Aurora Police department.

Christa - Nail Technician

Christa has been a Master Nail Technician for over 16 years. She has had advanced training in Creative Nail Design and uses drill free techniques in order to custom design your acrylic nails. Instructed by a podiatrist, Christa can detect and prevent ingrown toe nails as well as sooth your tired feet as she is a certified reflexologist.

Not only is she a nail tech, Christa has a master's degree in counseling.

Kathy - Esthetician

Kathy graduated from Pivot Point International and Rocky Mountain Laser and Electrology School. She is a licensed professional with twenty-four years in the Health & Beauty Industry. Kathy has continued her education in all the newest treatments and techniques in the constantly advancing Skin Care Industry. She is knowledgeable in all skin care treatments including advanced treatments such as: chemical peels, acne treatments, light therapy, waxing, electrology, and more.

Nicole - Stylist

Nicole has been a licensed cosmetologist for 10 years. She specializes in dimensional color, highlighting techniques and precision haircutting & design. She is educated in Schwarzkopf, Matt Sweeny, Goldwell, Alphaparf, Aveda, Logics, Redken, and Wella color lines and licensed in Connecticut, Colorado, Tennessee, and Washington. Nicole has traveled all over the country going to some of the top hair shows to continue her education with advanced training.

Rachelle - Stylist/Skin Care/ 2nd Degree Reike

Rachelle Manna graduated from the DeLoux School of Cosmetology in San Diego, CA and has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 22 years. Rachelle specializes in dimensional color, highlights, color correction, and haircuts including razor and dry cutting. She is fluent in Redken and Logics color lines. She has attended classes at the College of International Esthetics in Denver, CO, and is state certified in microdermabrasion and chemical resurfacing. She attends hair shows and product line classes to stay current with the latest trends and developments in the beauty industry.

Stephaine - Stylist

Stephanie, a native Chicagoan, has been a hairstylist since 2003. After a lengthy career in business communications, she decided to take her love for fashion and art behind the chair. Doing so allowed her to combine her passion for creating beauty with her love for people.

She pursued her passion at Pivot Point International in Chicago, IL, where she received advanced training. After graduation, she assisted under various Vidal Sassoon — educated stylists for one year. During that time she was exposed to many exciting opportunities leading her to compete in the NCA International USA Beauty open at the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show where she won two silver medals.

Stephanie uses her professional opinion and technique to give her clients the look they want while accentuating their best features. To her, quality is far more important than quantity.

Tanya - Massage Therapist

Tanya is trained in several modalities of massage therapy including shiatsu, Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, trigger point therapy, sports and injury massage, reflexology, and cranial sacral therapy. Also, she is a Reiki Master Teacher which allows Tanya to integrate healing energy work with her massage practice. All of the staff at the Blue Dragonfly is very happy to have her as part of our team.

Traci - Stylist

Traci has been a stylist for twenty-one years. Previously located in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, she has extensive advanced training in haircutting, color and color placement, and with Matt Sweeny. Her body of work includes: Bay Area and L.A. fashion shows, photo shoots, rock bands and stage performances. Traci specializes in precision haircutting, natural hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, perms, and special occasion styling.
