Our Staff
Continuing education is what keeps you motivated and on top of your game. At Blue Dragonfly we are very proud of the fact that we are constanly attending or receiving education either here in the salon with very gifted educators (see our newsletter) or with various trend setting artists/stylists such as, Albie Mulcahy, Matt Sweeney, Oscar & Wendy Bond, Roxanne Christian, to name a few.

Community Support
The Angels at Heritage Eagle Bend
Services donated to the Silent Auction at their annual Wine Fest. Money raised during the Angels Wine Fest is used around the Heritage Eagle Bend community to help the 55 and over residents.
Can Food Drive for the Homeless
Bring in cans to the Blue Dragonfly and receive a dollar off our services. Multiple cans are appreciated, but the maximum discount is $1 per person.
Toys for Tots Drop Off
Blue Dragonfly was a Toys for Tots drop off center in 2009.
Cindy - Owner/Stylist
Cindy has 20 plus years in the industry — specializing in color, cut, design and color correction. She is a Schwarzkopf educator with extensive Schwarzkopf training from both national and international Schwarzkopf educators. Her current education includes, but is not limited to: Matt Sweeny, Lanza Education, Wendy Bond color & design, Oscar Bond cut & style, Nexus design team, Schwarzkopf Essential Look collection, Dry Hair Cutting Sculpting and design with Albie Mulcahy.

Amanda - Stylist/Colorist
Amanda is the newest to our group. She has an incredible eye for total transformations. She specializes in unique foil placement, current style trends, and current/up and coming haircuts. She has the ability to envision the style which will give YOU the best overall result. She personalizes each cut/color to the client. Amber - Stylist/Colorist
Amber focuses her talent on the transformation a day spent at the salon can do for ones self. Not only for your image, but your confidence and your overall sanity! By staying current on her education (including trendsetting styles and color), she strives to modernize the mom, add trend to the work look and glam up the everyday "wash and go". She is of course, always looking for those daring and spunky clients ready for extreme colors and cuts. On a more glamorous note, Amber was drawn into the industry many years ago, due to the creativity and unique designs of up-dos. She enjoys all special occasion styles, from the dolled-up-date-night to the beautiful bride. Come play hair with Amber and enjoy your much needed transformation.

Christa - Nail Technician
Christa has been a Master Nail Technician for over 16 years. She has had advanced training in Creative Nail Design and uses drill free techniques in order to custom design your acrylic nails. Instructed by a podiatrist, Christa can detect and prevent ingrown toe nails as well as sooth your tired feet as she is a certified reflexologist.
Not only is she a nail tech, Christa has a master's degree in counseling.

Kathy - Esthetician
Kathy graduated from Pivot Point International and Rocky Mountain Laser and Electrology School. She is a licensed professional with twenty-four years in the Health & Beauty Industry. Kathy has continued her education in all the newest treatments and techniques in the constantly advancing Skin Care Industry. She is knowledgeable in all skin care treatments including advanced treatments such as: chemical peels, acne treatments, light therapy, waxing, electrology, and more.

Nicole - Stylist
Nicole has been a licensed cosmetologist for 10 years. She specializes in dimensional color, highlighting techniques and precision haircutting & design. She is educated in Schwarzkopf, Matt Sweeny, Goldwell, Alphaparf, Aveda, Logics, Redken, and Wella color lines and licensed in Connecticut, Colorado, Tennessee, and Washington. Nicole has traveled all over the country going to some of the top hair shows to continue her education with advanced training.

Rachelle - Stylist/Colorist
Rachelle Manna graduated from the DeLoux School of Cosmetology in San Diego, CA and has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 22 years. Rachelle specializes in dimensional color, highlights, color correction, and haircuts including razor and dry cutting. She is fluent in Redken and Logics color lines. She has attended classes at the College of International Esthetics in Denver, CO, and is state certified in microdermabrasion and chemical resurfacing. She attends hair shows and product line classes to stay current with the latest trends and developments in the beauty industry.

Sunny - Stylist/Colorist
Sunny comes to us from the DTC area where she worked as an independent contractor for 12 years. She has almost 20 years in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, salon consultant and hair coloring educator. As an artisan, Sunny is versatile in all aspects of hair design, specializing in hair coloring, men's and women's haircuts, and special occasion styling.
Her background includes platform assistance for Framesi, Redken and Scruples at state and national hair shows, and she has attended multiple workshops, including training with Beth Menardi, Eric Fisher, Robert Cromwell and Martin Parsons. Her reputation launched her into instructing, where she taught cutting and coloring techniques on both the local and national level for beauty suppliers and manufacturers. A creative visionary with a heart for fashion and beauty, makes her the stylist for you!

Tanya - Massage Therapist
Tanya is trained in several modalities of massage therapy including shiatsu, Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, trigger point therapy, sports and injury massage, reflexology, and cranial sacral therapy. Also, she is a Reiki Master Teacher which allows Tanya to integrate healing energy work with her massage practice. All of the staff at the Blue Dragonfly is very happy to have her as part of our team.

Traci - Stylist
Traci has been a stylist for twenty-one years and at the Blue Dragonfly for over one year. Previously located in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, she has extensive advanced training in haircutting, color and color placement, and with Matt Sweeny. Her body of work includes: Bay Area and L.A. fashion shows, photo shoots, rock bands and stage performances. Traci specializes in precision haircutting, natural hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, perms, and special occasion styling.
