Our Staff

Continuing education is what keeps you motivated and on top of your game. At Blue Dragonfly we are very proud of the fact that we are constanly attending or receiving education either here in the salon with very gifted educators (see our newsletter) or with various trend setting artists/stylists such as, Albie Mulcahy, Matt Sweeney, Oscar & Wendy Bond, Roxanne Christian, to name a few.

Cindy - Owner/Stylist

Cindy has 20 plus years in the industry—specializing in color, cut, design and color correction. She has extensive Schwarzkopf training from both national and international Schwarzkopf educators. Her current education includes, but is not limited to: Matt Sweeny, Lanza Education, Wendy Bond color & design, Oscar Bond cut & style, Nexus design team, Schwarzkopf Essential Look collection, Dry Hair Cutting Sculpting and design with Albie Mulcahy.

Amanda - Stylist and Nail Technician

6 year veteran to the hair industry, she quantifies her work with understanding and creativity. Her cut and color are designed to exemplify to individual. Her mission is to assure her clients of a relaxing enjoyable visit and providing them with a spectacular look that will delight them.

Barbara - Chinese Medicine

Barbara was raised by very traditional Chinese parents. She became serious about Chinese medicine in 2003 and attended the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Barbara also gives back to her community. She has been a victim's advocate for 13 years with the Aurora Police department.

Deb - Stylist and Marketing Director

Originally from upstate NY, Deb graduated from Southern Adirondack Vocational School of Cosmetology in 1997. Deb has trained with Regis professional hair care artists, Redken platform artists including a design certified educator. Having been licensed for 14 years, Deb's experience lies in a multitude of skilled areas including: Designer Cuts for Men & Women, Color Correction, Highlights, Lowlights & Accent Foils, Perms, Hair Smoothing & Treatments, Natural Nails including Manicures & Pedicures, and Makeup.

Kendra - Stylist

Going to beauty college was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I became intrigued with the art of hair design. I started working at a few salons in the area as a receptionist to learn more about the industry. Over time, I learned I could manipulate hair and make people beautiful from the outside in. Becoming a hair designer provided countless open doors for learning, expanding, creating and growing.

I graduated beauty college and high school in Denver, Colorado and immediately began an internship with Bobbie Mitchell (master stylist and Matrix Color Educator), and DJ Taylor (won seven national championships, two silver medals in the U.S. in 1991 and Gold for Day and Evening Competitions).

Kathy - Esthetician

Kathy graduated from Pivot Point International and Rocky Mountain Laser and Electrology School. She is a licensed professional with twenty-four years in the Health & Beauty Industry. Kathy has continued her education in all the newest treatments and techniques in the constantly advancing Skin Care Industry. She is knowledgeable in all skin care treatments including advanced treatments such as: chemical peels, acne treatments, light therapy, waxing, electrology, and more.

KC - Stylist and Nail Technician

She has spent over six years in the industry. She loves the creative and artistic side of her career and loves to not only listen and fit the clients' desires into her work but express herself as well. She specializes in all aspects of hair design and also enjoys being able to offer people the one on one pampering of a great pedicure and manicure for a total relaxation and enjoyment of the salon/spa.

Nancy - Stylist and Airbrush Spray Tanning

As a former salon owner from the town of Vail, Nancy is known for her artistic flair, eye for detail and love for fashion. She has been in the industry for 3 decades. Her greatest passion is phenomenal customer service with an emphasis on understanding the needs of each individual. Specializes and trained in the dynamics cutting and styling, fine to thick, curly hair.

Nancy has worked many on many Off Broadway shows backstage and has been a designer to the stars but to Nancy... everyone is a star.

Nicole - Stylist

Nicole has been a licensed cosmetologist for 12 years and in the industry for 15 years. She specializes in dimensional color, highlighting techniques and precision haircutting & design. She is educated in, Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, Alphaparf, Aveda, Logics, Redken, and Wella color lines and licensed in Connecticut, Colorado, Tennessee, and Washington. Nicole has traveled all over the country going to some of the top hair shows to continue her education with advanced training.
